Cancer and child health experts to address BPC 2003

A former head of the World Health Organization's cancer control programme and England's National Clinical Director for Children are among the expert speakers already confirmed for the British Pharmaceutical Conference 2003.

On the opening day of the conference, Professor Karol Sikora will talk about innovations in cancer care. Professor Sikora is visiting professor of international cancer medicine and honorary consultant oncologist at Imperial College School of Medicine and was head of the WHO cancer programme from 1997 to 1999.

On the second day, Professor Al Aynsley-Green, who is chairman of the Children's Taskforce as well as National Clinical Director for Children, will address issues relating to developments in children's health care.
