Generic prices

The Department of Health's maximum prices scheme for generic medicines is to continue.

After consulting generics manufacturers (PJ, 26 October, p596), Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health Lord Hunt decided to make no changes. Discussions are continuing on long-term arrangements for supplying generics to the National Health Service.
