The ProfessionNegative pressFrom Mr P. Williams Non-readers of The Sunday Express may be concerned to learn that "the Government is encouraging people to use unqualified pharmacists" rather than give more resources to doctors (19 January, pp18–19). With negative press such as this, it is no wonder large numbers of patients with minor ailments are still consulting general practitioners rather than pharmacists (PJ, 18 January, p70).
