Autopen 24 delivery device

Autopen 24 insulin delivery pen for use with Aventis's Lantus and Insuman cartridges has been launched (Owen Mumford). The pen is available in two models: a 2-unit model which measures up to 42 units of insulin in 2 unit increments (3ml capacity) (net price, 1 £14.20) and a 1-unit model which measures up to 21 units of insulin in 1 unit increments (3ml capacity) (net price, 1 £14.20). Autopen 24 will be included in the Drug Tariff from 1 March.
