Leaflet highlights museum services

The museum of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has launched a new leaflet highlighting the range of services it offers.

The museum covers all aspects of British pharmacy history and provides a historical research service based on the information, archives, photographs and objects in its collections.

Briony Hudson, keeper of the museum collections, said: "Our approach has been to present a friendly, welcoming leaflet that will encourage users to contact us. In addition to giving details of the museum's service and merchandise, the leaflet invites people to contact us if they are interested in working with us on future projects. We are very much focused on developing the collections' potential as a resource for learning, for school children, for university students, for community groups, for web users and through loans to other museums."

The leaflet, "How can we help you?", will be distributed to a wide range of interested organisations, including all members of the London Museums of Health and Medicine and local museums, libraries and archives. Further information and copies of the leaflet can be obtained from the museum (tel 020 7572 2210; e-mail museum@rpsgb.org.uk).
