Charter discussion at AGMMembers of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society will be able to air their views on the new draft Royal Charter during an hour-long session before the Society's annual general meeting on 14 May. The forum will open at 6.30pm. The forum slot was introduced to the AGM in 2001 to allow wider debate on matters of concern. A session on the Charter is also planned for the afternoon of the branch representatives' meeting on 15 May. Ann Lewis, Secretary and Registrar, said that the Council is committed to ensuring the widest possible debate on the Charter. The Society is also working on a plan to take the draft Charter out to the members in a series of roadshows and meetings. |
