Long service award for branch officer
At a meeting of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Northern Scottish branch on 17 March, a certificate was presented to George Greig in recognition of his long service on the branch committee. Mr Greig has been branch treasurer since 1991 and is a former branch chairman. The Society introduced the certificate scheme for recognition of long service locally in 2001, in response to a branch representatives' meeting resolution. Members must have served at least 15 years on a branch or regional committee to be nominated for a certificate. The certificates are signed by the President but normally presented locally. |
