Rowlands pharmacies to be rebranded

Rowlands pharmacies, part of the chain owned by the Phoenix wholesaling group, are to receive a new look with the aim of emphasising their group identity.

Kenny Black, commercial director, Rowlands, said a recent survey showed that customers of the chain are confused by the dual Rowlands and Numark branding carried by many of its pharmacies.

As part of the new look, "Rowlands" is more prominent, overlying "Numark" on the fascia alongside the group's version of the pharmacy cross (see picture, right).

Rowlands is the largest shareholder in Numark.
