Xigris improves quality of life

Patients in intensive care units (ICUs) with severe sepsis who are treated with activated protein C (rhAPC; Xigris) have better quality of life than the general ICU population, according to interim results from the ENHANCE study.

Data were reported at the International Symposium on Intensive Care and Emergency Medicine in Brussels last month.
