Replacement of registration certificates following updating of registered namesThe Royal Pharmaceutical Society has received some complaints about the delay in the replacement of registration certificates belonging to women who have had to update their registered names as a result of the recent workforce census. Ann Lewis, the Society's Secretary and Registrar, says that the Society acknowledges the delay and apologises to those affected. Miss Lewis explains: "The delay in the issuing of replacement certificates was due to the large number of changes required following the census responses and staff changes within the registration section of the Society. The backlog of issuing certificates has now largely been cleared and new resources put in place to avoid similar problems in the future." |
