Last SARS travel warning lifted

Travellers are no longer being advised to postpone travel to certain areas of the world in order to minimise the spread of severe acute respiratory syndrome.

The World Health Organization lifted its recommendation that people should postpone all but essential travel to Beijing this week. Beijing was the last area in the world to which this advice still applied.
