A former chief pharmacist at the Department of Health, Bryan Hartley, was among a group of pharmacists who met recently for the annual "pill rollers' lunch" of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Cheltenham and Gloucester branch. The lunch, for those who have been on the Register of Pharmaceutical Chemists for 40 years or more (and their partners), took place on 28 May at a hotel near Cheltenham.
