Welsh officers re-elected

Andrea Robinson has been re-elected to serve a third term as chairman of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Welsh Executive. Dr David Temple has been re-elected as vice-chairman.

The election of the officers took place at a meeting of the executive on 10 July. The executive also elected Alan Screen as finance liaison member and Colin Ranshaw as communications officer. There were no other candidates for any of the above posts.

In the election of four members to serve on the public affairs working group there were five candidates — Dr Sarah Cockbill, Mair Davies, Peter Jones, Robert Gartside and Alan Screen. In the ensuing ballot, Mr Gartside, Mr Jones and Mr Screen were re-elected to the group and Ms Davies was elected to succeed Dr Cockbill. The working group members also include the executive's chairman and the vice-chairman, who chairs the group.
