Greenfield On 19
July, Eric Spencer Greenfield, of 51 Brangbourne Road, Bromley, Kent
BR1 4LL. Mr Greenfield joined the Pharmaceutical Society's Department
of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1964 and worked on the 1968, 1973 and
1979 editions of the British Pharmaceutical Codex. He assisted the
outside editors of the second edition of Clarke's Isolation and Identification
of Drugs from about 1981 to 1985, when he was appointed editor of the
new Veterinary Formulary. He started up the project and established
the method of working until his retirement in 1988.
