Psoriasis treatments similar

Methotrexate and ciclosporin are similarly effective for the treatment of moderate-to-severe chronic plaque psoriasis, say researchers.

In a study involving 88 patients, the two therapies were found to reduce the severity of disease by a similar amount and were both well tolerated (New England Journal of Medicine 2003;349:658).
