New minister for pharmacy is to address BPC 2003

Rosie Winterton, MP, Minister of State for Health with responsibility for pharmacy services, will address delegates at the British Pharmaceutical Conference 2003 in Harrogate on the afternoon of Wednesday 17 September. The Minister’s address will follow the address by the President of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society, Dr Gill Hawksworth, which will start at 1pm.

Dr Hawksworth said: “Following the Government reshuffle in the summer, I am delighted that Rosie Winterton has agreed to attend our conference. These are changing times for pharmacists working in all sectors and we look forward to hearing the Minister talk about future plans.”

The conference is being held at Harrogate International Centre between Monday 15 and Wednesday 17 September. The conference theme this year is ‘Delivering innovation for patients’.
