Workforce census

The response rate to date for the 2003 Royal Pharmaceutical Society's second pharmacy workforce census is 63 per cent. This census will provide a further snapshot of pharmacists’ work patterns and, through comparison with last year’s data (response 86 per cent), an analysis of the degree to which to pharmacists’ circumstances and career direction have changed in the past year. Therefore, it will help to assess how often workforce data need to be collected in future.

Pharmacists who have not yet returned their forms can still do so, the Society’s practice research division says.
