Christmas gifts from the museum

The Society's Museum offers a range of Christmas gift ideas and cards. Items for sale include replica drug jars, illustrated books on pharmacy history and packs of greetings cards and postcards. Orders must be received in the museum by Monday 8 December to ensure delivery by Christmas.

The jars are hand-finished copies of original objects held in the Museum’s collections, and are supplied by a specialist distributor of pharmacy replicas. Each is sent out with an information sheet giving historical details of the original jar and its contents. The cards feature images from the museum’s collections, including botanical illustrations, advertisements, photographs and cartoons. The books cover the museum’s caricature collection and photographic collection and the history of the Society.

The merchandise is available by mail order. Details and an order form can be accessed via the museum pages of the Society’s website. Orders may also be placed by telephone (020 7572 2210) or e-mail (museum@rpsgb.org.uk). The jars, cards and books can also be bought in person from the Library at the Society’s headquarters.
