Ebola vaccine hope

Researchers have successfully immunised mice against the deadly Ebola virus in the hope of developing a human vaccine. They used virus-like particles made of the Ebola virus’s two coat proteins. After exposure to the real virus, all of the immunised mice were protected (Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences online No.7038).
