Drug injecting centre pilotMedically supervised injecting centres should be piloted in the UK to allow illicit drug users to inject safely in a clinical environment, say the authors of an article in this week’s BMJ. They suggest that trained staff could offer injecting advice, including advice to move away from intravenous drug use (2004;328:100). |
