Science and practice research submissions invited for BPC 2004
Pharmacists and pharmaceutical scientists are invited to submit papers for the science and pharmacy practice research elements of this year's British Pharmaceutical Conference.
BPC 2004 will be held at Manchester International Convention Centre from
27 to 29 September. The conference theme will be “Medicines: from
cell to society”, drawing on the rapid transfer of innovation into
effective, easy-to-use medicines that are urgently needed to improve
patient care.
The BPC is the largest event in the United Kingdom for pharmacists and
pharmaceutical scientists and the only annual event that brings together
pharmacy practice, practice research and pharmaceutical science disciplines.
To maintain the quality of this interdisciplinary programme, many sessions
are developed in collaboration with other national organisations. The
science programme is produced in association with the Academy of Pharmaceutical
Sciences.
Further information and abstract submission forms will shortly be available
on-line through the events
section of the Society’s
website. The deadlines for submission of completed application forms
is 31 March
for practice and 23 April for science.
Further information is available from Judy Callanan at the Society’s
headquarters (tel 020 7572 2261; e-mail bpcpractice@rpsgb.org or bpcscience@rpsgb.org).
