Gennings In a tribute to the late Gillian Mary Gennings, née Garner (PJ, 3/10 January, p39), CHRIS MOBBS writes:

With great sadness I learned of the death of Jill Gennings. I was a preregistration trainee colleague with Jill at Guy’s Hospital from 1977 to 1978. Jill was a good athlete, beating me at squash regularly, and was a useful swimmer. She and her flatmates became good friends with my then flatmates, including Dr Jeff Gennings whom she later married. After the birth of their children Jill worked as a locum pharmacist and was a proud mother and homemaker. My condolences go to her friends and family.
