POEMs

Hopes dashed!

From Mr J. A. Rabbett, MRPharmS

I was excited to see POEMS on the front cover of The Journal on 14 February. I love poetry. I was a little disappointed to find the nature of your POEMS however, so I thought I would send one anyway:

Here lies I and my two daughters
Killed by drinking Cheltenham waters;
If we had stuck to Epsom salts
We shouldn’t be lying in these vaults.

Jim Rabbett
Maidstone, Kent
