WHO advice on medicinal plants

Guidelines on the cultivation, collection and classification of medicinal plants have been published by the World Health Organization.

WHO says the guidelines are intended for national governments to ensure production of herbal medicines is of good quality, safe, sustainable and poses no threat to people or the environment.
