NHS to run conflict training
Courses in conflict resolution for pharmacists and other NHS staff were started this week by the NHS Security Management Service.
Jim Gee, chief executive of the NHS SMS, said: “Conflict resolution
training allows those on the front-line to protect themselves and their
colleagues without resorting to physical restraint.”
Community pharmacists will be able to arrange course attendance through
their
local pharmaceutical committees. An SMS spokesman said that details of
how this will be done are still being worked out, but that community
pharmacists may be expected to pay for the £30 course themselves. |
