Numark to open pharmacy convenience store

Numark Pharmacy and Costcutter have collaborated to launch a co-branded convenience shop with an in-store pharmacy.

The first of the co-branded shops is scheduled to open on 17 April and is located in Hightown, near Liverpool. A spokeswoman for Numark confirmed that this store is the first of a number that the two companies are developing together.

The Hightown shop is jointly owned by pharmacists Paul Middleton and Shamir Patel. “The people of Hightown are already familiar with the Numark brand, the good value products we sell and the good advice we can give. This new concept combining Numark and Costcutter under one roof will enable us to serve the community’s grocery needs too — a real convenience store,” Mr Patel commented. “It is obviously early days but we are really enthusiastic about the new project.”
