Viagra “reward card” introduced in the US

Men in the US who are regularly prescribed Viagra (sildenafil citrate) are being offered a free prescription as part of a new bonus scheme launched by Pfizer last week.

The “value card for Viagra” enables men to have one Viagra prescription dispensed free of charge after they have paid for six prescriptions. Participants can enroll in the programme online or via a telephone information service.

More than 33,000 retail pharmacies in the US are participating in the programme which was launched in celebration of the sixth anniversary of the launch of the drug.

A spokesperson for Pfizer told The Journal that they have no plans to introduce the programme to the UK.
