Society summary

Election booklet printing error

The Royal Pharmaceutical Society has learnt that at least one Society member has received a misprinted copy of the booklet containing Council election candidates' biographical details and statements of policy.

Apart from the cover, each leaf had been printed on one side only — leaving blanks at pages 4, 5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 16 and 17. This means that information is missing for candidates 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13 and 14 in alphabetical sequence.

Electoral Reform Services, which handles the printing, distribution and vote count for the Society, has apologised for the error and given an assurance that no more than a few booklets can have been affected by the error.

Any other members who have received misprinted booklets should contact Alex Lonie at Electoral Reform Services (tel 020 8365 8909), who will arrange for a replacement copy to be sent immediately.
