Council's handling of Charter proposal to be raised at AGM
The Royal Pharmaceutical Society's annual general meeting of the members on 12 May is to be asked to discuss the Council's handling of its new Charter proposals and members' concerns about the Society's future role.
An addition to the AGM agenda (p527) says that David Sharpe will raise
the following matter: “The procedure adopted by the Society’s
Council in relation to its proposals for a new Charter and concerns of
members about the future role of the Society as
the professional representative body for pharmacists.”
Mr Sharpe is a past president of the Society.
