Adherence to BP treatment

Making dosing regimens simpler can improve adherence to blood pressure lowering medication by up to 20 per cent, a new study shows.

In a review of published trials, UK researchers found that motivational strategies were partly successful at improving adherence whereas patient education alone was not (Archives of Internal Medicine 2004;164:722).
