London secures funding for CPD support

London Pharmacy Education and Training has secured funding to continue support for pharmacy staff implementing continuing professional development in NHS organisations in London, Hertfordshire and Essex.

Nicola Arnold and Sneha Varia have been appointed part-time specialist CPD facilitators.

The group, which supports the initial training and CPD for all grades of pharmacy staff employed by NHS organisations in London, Hertfordshire and Essex, has produced CPD support packs which are available online. It is also setting up a working group to establish how best to support CPD implementation in primary care trusts. Pharmacists in the area interested in joining the working group should contact svaria_cpd@yahoo.co.uk.
