Lloydspharmacy recruits Polish pharmacists
Lloydspharmacy is already recruiting pharmacists from the countries which joined the European Union on 1 May.
Following recruiting activities before accession took place, Nigel Ward,
senior resourcing manager for Lloydspharmacy, said: “We found that
the compatibility of qualifications, level of English fluency and interest
in working in the UK was high. We are in the process of shortlisting
our first group of pharmacists from Poland.”
Mr Ward added that the company expects pharmacists it recruits from accession
countries to want to stay in the UK for between three and five years,
or longer, before returning home.
Lloydspharmacy expects to recruit 50 overseas pharmacists this year,
along with 300 UK pharmacists. |
