Funding secured for research network on drug delivery
A virtual research network that aims to promote the science of drug delivery within the UK has secured £63,000 in funding from the British research councils.
The money will be used to bring together academic researchers, small
businesses and pharmaceutical companies with the aim of identifying and
addressing key drug delivery issues. The network will be co-ordinated
by John Smart, professor of pharmacy at the school of pharmacy and biomolecular
sciences, University of Brighton. The network’s first meeting is
due to take place on 14 June at the Royal Pharmaceutical Society’s
headquarters in London. |
