Tribute
Scott In a tribute to the late Peter Ronald Scott,
KEITH M. WILLIAMS, secretary of the Society’s Bolton branch, writes:
It was with shock that I learnt of Peter’s sudden illness in February
and great sadness at his death on 28 April at the age of 59. We became
friends when we started our undergraduate studies at the Square in 1965.
He worked in North Kent after qualifying and then moved to the Poole
area with his young family. He served the local community for the past
30 years, 20 of
them from the same pharmacy in Broadstone.
Away from pharmacy and his family, Peter’s main interests were with the
Air Training Corps, where he was a warrant officer, and in the training of a
succession of retrievers as gundogs.
I will remember him for his fund of stories and a wonderful sense of humour that
carried him through his illness to its conclusion.
He leaves a widow, Brenda, and four daughters.
