Promote error reporting system

A motion calling for a formal national reporting system for pharmacy-related medication errors was carried by the BRM, even thought it has been superseded by events.

Proposing the motion, Chris Barnes (British Pharmaceutical Students Association) acknowledged that the National Patient Safety Agency had now launched its National Reporting and Learning Scheme. However, few people were aware of it and there was still no generic recording system across all sectors of pharmacy. Members needed to think about promoting the recording system a lot more and enforcing it throughout pharmacy.

Chinelo Onyiagha (BPSA) formally seconded the motion.
