Numark pharmacy adopts NHS branding

The first Numark pharmacy to include NHS branding on its fascia was announced last week.

The pharmacy is located in Banks, Southport, and is owned by pharmacists Shamir Patel and Paul Middleton.

“Banks is a small village with one local doctor who is well known to the local community. We have a close working relationship and I wanted to symbolise this by using the NHS logo on our fascia when we had a refit,” explained Mr Patel.

More Numark pharmacies are planning to use the NHS branding. However, it will not be imposed by the company. A spokeswoman for Numark said that it is up to individual pharmacists to decide whether or not they want to use the NHS branding.
