Honorary appointments at Robert Gordon University

The Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen, has announced five honorary appointments this week. They include an honorary professorship for Bill Scott, the chief pharmaceutical officer for Scotland. He is joined by Norman Lannigan, chief pharmacist at NHS Lothian University Hospitals Trust, and Phil Woodhead, vice-president, pharmaceutical sciences Europe at Quintiles.

Rose Marie Parr, director of pharmacy at NHS Education for Scotland, has been made an honorary reader and Alison Strath, of the pharmaceutical strategy implementation team at the Scottish Executive Health Department, has been made an honorary lecturer.

Making the announcement, Terry Healey, head of the school of pharmacy, said: “These appointments collectively form a very strong advisory, and hands on, team.”
