Council to debate alternative proposal for implementing new regulatory mechanisms
Alternative procedures for implementing new regulatory mechanisms for pharmacy are to be debated at next week's meeting of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Council.
In a series of motions, Nicholas Wood, one of the 10 Save
Our Society campaigners now on the Council, will propose the withdrawal of the petition
for a new Royal Charter and the drafting, after wide consultation, of
a Byelaw amendment to introduce a new Regulatory Board with a significant
proportion of lay members.
