Cough research wins award

Giving parents accurate information about the natural history of a child's cough may help to reduce expectations for antibiotics and the need to consult a GP. This is the conclusion of the Royal College of General Practitioners’ research paper of the year 2004, an award sponsored by Boots The Chemists.

The research is published in Family Practice (2003;20:696).
