NE Business Awards
The Specials Laboratory, a manufacturer and supplier of unlicensed medicines,
has been named small business of the year in the North East Business Awards
2003.
Castlemead Healthcare
The medical information department for Castlemead Healthcare Ltd has moved

Aventis and Distriphar
Owing to a transfer to a new computer ordering system, Aventis and Distriphar
Customer Services (West Malling) will be temporarily shutting down the current
system at the beginning of July. Since orders will not be able to be processed
during the shut-down, customers are asked to fax their orders to 08705 133329
to cover the first two weeks in July by 15 June, stating on the fax: “This
is the July order.” These orders will be processed and invoiced in
June (with one extra month’s credit) but will not be delivered until
July. (Orders placed via Bedford Customer Services are not affected.)
Steroid cards
Blue steroid cards in England and Wales are now available from NHS Customer
Services, Astron, Causeway Distribution Centre, Oldham Broadway Business
Park, Chadderton, Oldham OL9 8XD (tel 0161 683 2376, fax 0161 683 2396).
The Department of Health no longer pays for these cards and now a charge
of £4.83 + VAT per 100 cards must be paid. The product code to use
when ordering is “STC”. |
