Annual election brings two changes to the membership of the Welsh Executive

The Welsh Executive of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society has two new members.

In the annual election of four members of the executive, Nuala Brennan and Paul Gimson were elected for the first time and Mair Davies and Sarah Cockbill were re-elected.

The two new members replace Alan Screen, who was unsuccessful in the election, and David Temple, who chose not to seek re-election. Mr Screen had served one three-year term on the executive. Dr Temple had served since 1998.

Ms Brennan is a consultant in pharmaceutical public health for the National Public Health Service for Wales. Mr Gimson is a pharmaceutical adviser with Caerphilly Local Health Board and a teacher-practitioner at the Welsh School of Pharmacy

Of 2,214 voting papers issued, 551 (24.9 per cent) were returned.
