First dictionary from Pharmaceutical Press
The Pharmaceutical Press (the publications division of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society) has published its first dictionary, a Dictionary of Pharmacovigilance.
The new book defines more than 3,100 abbreviations, terms and phrases,
many in considerable detail with supporting reference citations. It is
aimed principally at those in the pharmaceutical industry and the regulatory
authorities who are concerned with minotoring the safety of medicines
in everyday use.
The new book has been written by Amer Alghabban, senior international
clinical quality assurance auditor for Novartis Pharma, Switzerland.
The 544-page hardback book costs £65. Orders can be placed with
