GI bleeding and COX-2 inhibitors

Recent increases in the use of selective cyclo-oxygenase-2 inhibitors appear to have been accompanied by an increase in hospital admissions for gastrointestinal bleeds. The events may be directly linked, say researchers (BMJ 2004;328:1415).
