Bryan Kirkwood retires from the Statutory Committee after 20 years

Bryan Kirkwood has retired from the Royal Pharmaceutical Society's Statutory Committee after 20 years. Mr Kirkwood has had a long career in pharmacy and is currently northern regional manager for National Cooperative Chemists.

A dinner held in honour of Mr Kirkwood was attended by Ann Lewis, Secretary and Registrar of the Society, Gill Hawksworth, Immediate Past-President of the Society, Lord Fraser of Carmyllie, chairman of the Statutory Committee, and other members of the Statutory Committee.

David John, senior lecturer at the Welsh School of Pharmacy, Cardiff was appointed to the committee with effect from 1 April and Karrar Khan, former director of pharmacy and analytical operations at OSI Pharmaceuticals, Oxford, has been appointed with effect from 5 July.
