“Agenda for change” hits problem

Implementation of “Agenda for change” has been put on hold at one of the early implementer sites. Staff at City Hospitals Sunderland NHS Trust have been told that during the job evaluation process it became clear that some staff would be potentially financially disadvantaged on the “Agenda for change” system. Therefore, the trust has decided not to transfer those staff who may be financially disadvantaged by the process (see p93).
