Welsh Executive briefing paper on political, health and pharmacy environment
in Wales
A briefing paper on the political, health and pharmacy environment in Wales has been published by the Welsh Executive of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
The document was produced to inform the Society’s devolution review
but is now being made public.
The 28-page main section of the document includes information on health
policy in Wales, the legislative powers of the Welsh Assembly Government,
the organisational structure of the NHS in Wales and how pharmacy bodies
interact with these organisations and statutory bodies. A further 14
pages is given over to references and appendices, which include organisational
flow charts and a glossary of committees, structures and organisations
within Wales.
