President to serve on CHRE

It was agreed at the August Council meeting that the President of the day should be the Society’s representative on the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence.

The Council was advised that the CHRE expects regulatory bodies to nominate their presidents to serve. Although appointments are for a renewable period of four years, the regulations enable a CHRE member to resign at any time, thus allowing a change of representative whenever a regulatory body has a change of president.
