CPD committee wound upThe Society’s Continuing Professional Development Implementation Committee is to be disbanded because it has almost completed its work, the Council has decided. The committee was formed in 2001 to make proposals for a CDP requirement for pharmacists, to oversee development of a voluntary CPD system that could quickly be made mandatory, and to monitor the operation of the voluntary system. At the August Council meeting it was agreed that, with the national roll-out of the CPD system nearly complete, the committee should be disbanded and its remaining monitoring function taken over by the Education Committee. |
