The Royal Society?

From Mr J. M. Goldie, FRPharmS

On 18 August, Rosie Winterton MP, Minister of Health, was interviewed on the Today Programme on BBC Radio 4. During the interview, which concerned the Government’s intention to allow pharmacies opening over 100 hours per week exemption from the existing regulations, Ms Winterton said that we are inspected by the “Royal Society” and then repeated this statement later in the interview.

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde’s Lady Bracknell: “One error might be considered unfortunate, but two errors must be seen as downright carelessness.”

I wonder if the Royal Society is aware of its new duties?
