Welsh point of care testing

The Welsh Scientific Advisory Committee has published updated guidance on point of care testing (POCT).

The guidance covers aspects such as training, choice of equipment and quality control measures. It recommends evidence-based consideration of the risks, clinical benefits and costs of POCT versus laboratory testing.
